Pink flowered tree on a side street in Old Town
Posted in Old Town, Trees
I think those may be jacarandas. Messy when they drop. But a whole street of them in bloom is glorious.
Looks kind of like a crepe myrtle to me - whatever it is, this is a pretty picture!
This is an awesome picture. You’re a great photographer!
I believe those are in the Tabebuia family of trees. The Pink IpĂȘ (Tabebuia impetiginosa). I think the ones on Raymond are the yellow-flowering cousins, maybe the Golden Trumpet Tree (Tabebuia chrysotricha).
